Cambion Final Book Teaser One…

Okay, so it’s Monday and I thought why not give an extended teaser to the final Cambion book.

I haven’t yet revealed the title and cover. But I think this picture (although not the cover) speaks to the mood of the teaser.

Check out the teaser at this link. Please note the teaser is uncut (meaning not edited, so be kind)

New Young Adult novel announcement

What am I working on? A lot. The next books slated for release will be Profit & Loss and Rouge. Then the next and final Mercy book. I’ll release the title and cover soon.

Today, I’m here to talk about a new young adult romance novel I started back in 2013. (I told you have a  bunch of back titles to release). Anyway, I’m super excited about this one. I think your going to love Colton if you love Flynn (my Cambion bad boy). This is a summer release, but I’m sharing with you the cover and blurb. (Thanks Sara Eirew for an amazing cover design.)

Here it is.

too far amazon

Seventeen-year-old, Sadie MacPherson has a reputation and not a good one. The questions behind the night she slides from innocent middle-class girl to trailer park trouble can be answered by one guy.

Colton Beau

After a shadowy two years absence from high school, the dangerously hot Cajun stalks through the doors on a Friday no less. With a swagger in his step and an earned smirk on his face, he doesn’t recognize the gorgeous bad girl rumored to break V-cards from the good one he left behind.

With Sadie’s wrong kind of home life and a promise he made long ago, Colton uses his connection to the local motorcycle club to tie himself to the one girl that rings all his bells. In a fake relationship to protect her, he can’t deny he doesn’t look at her like his best friend’s little sister anymore and she stops thinking of him as a means to an end.

Only when Sadie learns why Colton left those years ago; too far might not be far enough might be too close for the hurt the truth will cause them both. Truths or not, even the Texas heat isn’t a match for the flame that sparks between them. Can they continue to pretend that what’s between them isn’t in fact very real?

When shame masks truth, and love becomes camouflage, they know they’ve gone Too Far.

Excerpt below. *warning* Rated for mature readers.

After the second beer and a dose of pain meds, I finally passed out. I dreamed of better times. A carefree Jess when I’d realized I’d fallen completely for her. Then she’d looked at me like I was worth something more than the image of my face or the size of my bank account.

The warmth of the sunlight, like Jess’s fingertips on my skin, jolted me awake. My hand went to the back of my neck where the sofa created kinks I couldn’t get out. I stood still unsteady and found Jess asleep on my bed. Thoughts of kissing my way up her from her leg to her beautiful mouth invaded my mind. I made a hasty retreat to my bathroom…

I shucked my clothes, causing them to slap against the tile floor. I turned on the shower and stepped in, even though, the water was as cold as ice. Hopefully, it would alleviate my heated desire for the girl on my bed who had me hard as my thick skull.

Soapy, head to toe, I fisted my need in my hand as I rested my head on the tiles. Water cascaded down my back and did nothing to cool my heated skin. I almost didn’t hear the door to the shower stall open. As the water began to warm at my back, a soft hand landed on my hip. I jumped and turned around.

Jess stood with willing Puritan eyes. If only she knew of the monster that was so close to the surface, she would most likely run like hell.

“Jessica, you need to leave now.”

Her hand reached up and touched my shoulder. “I don’t want to leave.”

“You have no idea what you’re asking for. Please leave, or I swear I’m going to have you like I’ve wanted since the first day I saw you.”

I gave her my back and rinsed the soap out of my hair. Her finger grazed around from my hip down the definition of muscle that led to my pulsing need.

Roughly, I said once more. “Jessica, please go.”

Broken Lens to release April 30th

My writing journey has been a long one. I’ve had ups and downs and with the kind words I receive via FB, my blog, my website, Twitter and Goodreads, from you, my readers, I’ve weathered the storm. I’m now writing full time (and being a stay at home mom), so my attention isn’t as divided as it has been in the past.

I should be able to get out all my back titles and get back on track. I have a couple of books that will release soon I’m really excited about. Look for one cover reveal for a new young adult contemporary stand alone novel to drop Friday, May 1st. I think it’s pretty smoking hot if you ask me.

But to the reason I’m writing today….

Hopefully, all good things are worth the wait. This book has been a labor of intense love. And thanks to motivation from a very good friend, I’ve made it through the darkness and into the light with this one. It has taken me longer than expected to complete, but what’s new. It’s done, and I hope I did the story justice as I know you guys will tell me whether I did or didn’t.

Here are a few teasers. I’ll post the pre-order links when I get them.

Happy Valentine’s Day (a day early)

What better way to celebrate with Mercy and the boys. So I’ve posted two deleted scenes. One from Angel of Mercy and the other from Have No Mercy.

I have other deleted scenes and will post more in the future as we draw near to the final book in the series. So much is going to happen, I’m not sure how I’ll cram it all into one book. But I will find a way. It’s been on my mind a lot.

Thanks for all your support. If you haven’t written a review for Have No Mercy, consider writing one and posting on Amazon. (this is me begging, lol)

I’m working to get Broken Len released. I’m a little behind, but it is going to happen.

And to Mercy…

(thanks Tiffany for the first two teasers. I absolutely love them.)

Hello 2015, Remember is LIVE

Okay, technically, it’s not live yet. But it’s in the hand of Amazon and Barnes & Noble and I’m going to get some actual sleep soon.

This is the book above. If you like YA paranormal romance, this is for you. Hot inked up boy with nothing to prove and everything to gain. (Okay, it really about sixteen year old Charlize, but yeah… hot guy, check.)

It’s book one in a trilogy. Book two is written but not next on my agenda.

Oh, if you beta read or read on Swoon Reads, this is like a different book. So much has changed from world building, to major characters, to at least one third or more of new content, etc. All my beta readers as its been a while, shoot me a email and I’ll get you a copy of the newest version if you’re interested.

Next up, I’m going to finish Broken Lens, a New Adult contemporary romance and second in a duo of books with Through the Lens the first of two in the series.

Sigh, I’m tired. I think one day’s break is in order. I hope your 2015 is going well. Mine has been a bit sleepless. Holding my kids hair as she tossed her cookies yesterday, not once, not twice, but three times and some dry heaves mixed in, is life and we all have to live it.

Enjoy the rest of your week, month and year. See you on the flip side.

Oh, I’ll add the links to Amazon and B&N when I get them. Enjoy!

Goodbye 2014…

Goodbye-2014-image-and-hello-2015-photo 4c25a9f857b11ecabf19e2d67d0b6dc4 Goodbye-2014-wallpaper-free goodbye-2014-welcome-2015-1

I hope your holidays were bright!

There are so many lessons I learned this year but there is something so poignant. Don’t dwell on the past because you can’t change it or make it better. You can only learn from it.

So today was publication day for Remember… remember, lol. Sorry, I had to say that. But I’m still working on it tireless day and night. It’s written, but I’m in the middle of the read through. And although I can publish it because it is complete, I’d rather be late a few days than to publish something subpar. Life happened, holidays, kids getting sick, me catching their germs and so on. So, I’m late.

For those that beta read it or for those that read it on the Swoon Reads site, it’s been changed considerably. In fact, I wouldn’t suggest skim reading it as I’ve changed dialogue, personalities and descriptions throughout. As well as several parts hit the cutting room floor in favor of other additions. This book only resembles the story I wrote several years ago because of the characters names, some of which I tweeked. Other than that, the story is far different in substance and not in overall direction.

So what does that mean. It means I need at about a week to finish maybe two, but I can’t take that long unless a domino effect happens with my other release dates. Broken Lens is up next and I’m actual ready for it. So a week or less and I’ll get it published.

Also, I haven’t forgotten the bonus POVs from Have No Mercy. When I’m editing a book, I can’t work on another. I have to read start to finish or else I might miss something. So once Remember is published, I will try and get the bonus POV done.

I hope you love the Peter and Jensen brothers…

Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR and Happy Reading!!!
